I think, I saw, I believe, I this, I that...
Totally unaware of it during recording. What a narcissist I am!
This is really annoying. Definitely should try to avoid this problem in next episode.

I think it's ok you use lots of "I" since you are sharing your experience and feelings here. Maybe more background music and more funny stuff are good. Anyway, it's the first episode. Need some introduction. Just be careful do not make it like "reading english texts".
Make it your own podcast: JiangCast. :))

Your description of 9/11 should have been very touching. I think if you re-do it in Chinese, the audience back home will be quite moved. The problem for many New Yorkers is that 9/11 has been so abused as an excuse for war and for the unraveling of our civil liberties, that we no longer wish to hear about it.
I appreciate your views on tolerance. New Yorkers live together in relative peace because we subscribe to the view that “one’s right to swing one’s arm ends where the other person’s nose begins?. Thus, we will complain about car alarms going off in the middle of the night, but we do not harass our neighbors over their religious beliefs, or lack of them, or over their private relationships. Besides, we really enjoy each other’s holidays!
The violin music in the background was lovely; perhaps you should end your broadcasts with original violin solos (which will also avoid copyright issues).
I look forward to hearing your views on bird flu and stem cell research.
It is a right time to hear your podcast. Keep going! I will definitely visit here again.

Phyllis, thank you for the comment. I have painted a rosy picture of New Yorkers. That's what people do when they are young and stupid:) hehe... You are right, technically it is not legal to use copyright protected content in podcast. In my own defense, 1) I bought those CDs in the first place. 2) I am not making a dime from the podcast.
Billy Joel, Isaac Perlman, please don't sue me, please!

American English Books I refered to were extracurricular ones. Had I known Bristish English is such a fad here, I would spend more time on those dreadful textbooks! haha
didn't mean to be nosy, but Martin has a sister?
